Ever since i got my ps4 pro i ve been noticing that it keeps dropping connection to the internet.
Ps4 pro lan cable keeps disconnecting.
I m now 100 baffled as to why this is happening to my ps4.
This person found out that either his cable was a little bit defective pulled out a tiny bit and did not keep connection or the ps4 ethernet socket was a tiny bit too deep.
Even though it was only 10 feet away from the router.
Sometimes it just happens once and then not again for the rest of the day sometimes it happens twice or three times within 5 30 mins of each other.
Every once in awhile when i play on ps4 the console will say the lan cable is disconnected.
There is nothing wrong with the ethernet cable as ive tested it on other ps4 s and laptops etc and my internet is still running when this happens.
So you might try a more expensive cable and if that does not work you might try his fix build up the connector plastic a little bit so that it is held in more tightly.
It could be on the router end as well.
How can i fix this.

My ps4 keeps saying lan cable disconnected.
At first i was using it wirelessly because i couldn t really be bothered laying a lan cable to my router and was accepting of slower speeds but it kept dropping connection.
Most of the time the cable is damaged.
It has happened to my ps3 as well but not even once has it happened to my wii u or xbox 360.
I upgraded to the ps4 pro and my wifi kept dropping.
Different ethernet port on router.
Lan cable not connected or fails to get ip address.
Check port on router ps4 for dust.
I do notice that after a short while it does stop eventually.
So i extended a lan cat 5 cable to hardwire the ps4 pro from the router and i m still getting the intermittent lost connection message only now it reads my lan connection has been lost.

The ps4 pro will have trouble detecting the optimal connection and will switch back and forth between them which will make you lose the connection.
Bad ethernet cable or dust in the port.
It usually happens 5 20 mins after i start using it for the first time.
